The Misenchanted Newsletter #190: Back in the USA

Yeah, I know it’s been more than a month since my last newsletter; sorry about that. There hasn’t been much to say. The only things I’ve worked on in that time were The Wizard’s Key (some minor tweaks) and Tom Derringer & the Sinister Statue (several pages and more plot changes).

Partly I’ve been enjoying some beautiful weather. I’ve also had three medical check-ups — eyes, dental, and general. I’ve done several small household repairs, and started a restoration project (an antique rocking chair). In general, I’ve just been doing other stuff instead of writing.

And I’ve just returned home after a short visit to beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, a city notable for fine architecture, flowers, and fancy afternoon tea. I’m pleased to report that no one we spoke to gave us any grief for the actions of the current administration, but we did see far more homes and businesses with Canadian flags displayed than on previous visits.

Now to get back to work.
